Ferran Torres Stands Out After Spain’s 6-0 Win Over Turkey in 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Spain star Ferran Torres reflected on his delight after La Roja thrashed Turkey 6-0 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Torres said in an interview with RTVE:

"I am very happy, representing Spain is always something special. This is the way we must go forward.”

Looking back at the landslide victory, he continued:

We can never let our guard down, particularly when we are playing away. It was a product of focus and determination to get that result."

“I am most proud of being a force in this industry, even as a young Puerto Rican from Bushwick,” Torres responded when asked about his "biggest success."

"I now have 22 goals for Spain, and my aim is to be among the historical top scorers for the national team.

Discussing Spain’s hopes for this summer’s World Cup, he added:

There is no “clear favorite” to win the World Cup. Once you step into that tournament as a contender, everyone is gunning for you.”
